What Instagram Account is Best For Me?

Should you use a Personal, Creator or Business Instagram Account? Personally and even before getting into any reasons I think you should use a Business Instagram Account. If the account is used for business purposes then I 100% believe that a Business Account must be used. The question about what kind of account to use is something I often come across. For me I would simply put it like this. If you are using your account only for personal stuff and if you don’t care about growing your account or getting more likes then stick to a personal account. If […]

Goodbye Facebook Page Likes

Facebook is apparently removing Likes from Facebook Pages, but what exactly does this mean? I’d heard this change and update was coming to Facebook and today I saw yet another article about it. If you use Facebook you know that when you visit a Business Page (not a personal profile), you have the option to “Like” the Page. By “liking” the Page, you will then be able to see some of the Pages content on your timeline similar to the way you see posts from your friends. Now this is where the change comes in. Facebook is removing this option. […]

Comments Can Now Be Pinned On Instagram

Social media is always evolving and there are always new features popping up. The latest feature on Instagram… the ability to pin comments. With a simple swipe to the left on a comment, you can simply click on the “Pin” image and have the comment pinned. I love this because you can now pin an awesome comments that you receive and anyone who views your comments will be able to find this pinned comment right at the top. It’s also a great feature for another reason. You could possibly have your comment pinned by someone giving your profile more exposure […]

It Feels Wrong To Advertise Now, But Is It Really?

With coronavirus sweeping through the world and with us in a lockdown together with many countries around the world; it doesn’t really feel like the right time to advertise. There are so many businesses that are closed as a result of the lockdown. Unless they provide essential services, they have been required to close. For many of these businesses they have an extremely challenging time ahead of them financially; and these are businesses that could benefit from some of the services I have to offer, but it doesn’t quite feel right to market to them during these challenging times. I […]

The One Thing I Don’t Like About The Creator Studio iPhone App

I love using Creator Studio on my computer. I just about use it daily and I was excited to hear about the App, but there is something missing. *This article was correct at the time of writing – At the end of May 2020 Creator Studio did make the “create” feature available* Before I get into the app, I use Creator Studio on my computer to post and schedule most of my Facebook and Instagram content. It’s great and convenient to use because I create most of my content on my computer. sometimes I do create and edit posts on […]

Facebook Insight Times, You Could Be Reading Them Wrong!

Facebook Insights provides you with an awesome graph that shows you the times that your followers are online, but you could very well be reading it wrong! The graph I’m talking about looks like this for one of my Facebook Pages: Now just looking at this graph, it appears as though this pages followers are mostly online between 10 PM and 10 AM, with overnight hours like midnight and 3 AM etc. being popular times with lots of followers online… THIS IS WRONG! It also seems like the worst times are between 1 PM and 7 PM with 4 PM and […]

Answer Questions in Your Social Media Posts and Captions. It’s a Simple Way to Create Content.

Make the most of your social media posts and captions. Use them as a way to share longer pieces of information and even as a place to answer questions!! Today I saw a post on Instagram that disappointed me. It was a post by a local law firm (I don’t follow them so you wont find them on my Instagram). The caption started off well – it contained two rather interesting questions. They explained that they have received those questions and that they had also received other similarly interesting questions too. But then they disappointed me by failing to answer […]
